I recently purchase this, and after the first wash my scalp felt very cleanse. I did use my hydrating shampoo afterwards following with my extreme hydration conditioner. Remember this shampoo is too **deep clean** so it may feel a bit tacky after you rinse this shampoo.
The Olaplex clarifying shampoo is one of the first I’ve tried and I absolutely love it. It leaves my hair feeling so clean after I use it. I will say, the bottle is absolutely tiny and I have to make a quarter size amount of shampoo work. Doesn’t make it a bad product, so if you have the money to spend, definitely get it!
if you have fine hair AVOID. it makes your hair tacky, feel like straw, and impossible to brush without massive breakage. this damaged my hair so much.
I have fine, tangle-prone hair that gets oily easily, so I’m always looking for products that offer lasting freshness. Unfortunately, my hair felt oily and weighed down again in less than 24hrs after this product.
I have a very oily scalp like if i wash in the morning its oily by the evening. This stuff really cuts the oil without getting dry and ive had zero itchiness. I have dyed hair and have no issues with that either. I will say to use a good conditioner after to avoid it drying out on the ends. My only gripe is the cap is SO hard to open. You will break a nail trying to. I wrap my washcloth around it and pop it off that way or just don’t snap it closed all the way.
So! I will keep using this! The formula is very sudsy, VERY SUDSY! I do feel cleansed washing my hair with this. You can feel it, it instantly feels remarkably clean. The texture and consistency hits. It’s very V
Use this every one to two weeks for a reset. I have very oily hair and this sets me up for the week.
I love this shampoo. I’ve bought so many “clarifying” shampoos that do nothing. This really cleans your scalp.
Loved this product as someone who has dandruff and it helped a lot with my oily scalp.
I have long, thick hair and have recently been struggling with it being oily in the back a few hours after washing. I washed, rinsed, washed again and let sit for 5 mins before rinsing. My hair feels normal again. It does feel a bit dry, but I have used a lot of clarifying shampoo, and this is the least dry my hair has felt. So I would say this is the best product I have tried so far for this purpose.
