Mini Scalp & Hair Prewash Mask for Thick, Curly or Coily Hair

I’ve been using this product for months now because I keep re-ordering it. I absolutely love it. I don’t mind the smell too much because I I’m used to eating in curry and things with turmeric in them. I was transitioning my hair from the Brazilian blowout to natural and honestly this has definitely helped with the growth and manageability. I can tell that it has strengthened my follicles and nourishes my scalp. it’s a game changer on my wash day. I probably use it 2 to 3 times a month as I wash my hair once a week. A little bit goes a long way. I have 4a/4b type hair.

This made my hair feel so incredibly soft. I don’t have a lot of curls but I’d say I definitely have wavy hair. This also made a big difference in my scalp. I’ve struggled with dry itchy scalped and this has cleared that up completely. For me a little goes a long way. It smells really good as well.

My 3C curls felt so much more hydrated and defined after using it—plus, my scalp felt clean and balanced without any tightness. The high-performing Ayurvedic ingredients really helped nourish my scalp, making my curls feel stronger and more moisturized. I loved how it locked in moisture for my curls, giving them more bounce and shine. The only downside was that I had to use a bit more product than I expected, but overall, it made a noticeable difference.

This is a great scalp prewash. I have 3c curly hair. I’ve used a lot of scalp scrubs/pre poos in the past. I felt like this one did a great job at cleansing my hair. It has a really nice clean fresh minty smell. It helped remove buildup from my products for sure. My scalp felt really clean after.

Shaz and kiks prewash hair and scalp treatment is enriched with beneficial ingredients like turmeric, amla, rice bran and jasmine flower. These are all hair thickening ingredients that improve the quality of hair and makes them strong. The extract is thick in texture and has a nice herbal fragrance to it. My hair feels smooth and soft after washing this scalp treatment. I absolutely love this product.

This is an okay pre wash. I like my pre washes with a more gritty texture. For the price this is way too small. I’m think it should be much bigger if it’s gonna. E a pre was a d bit a special event formula.

Unique, Ayurvedic prewash mask treatment with a potent, traditional fragrance and silky smoothing benefits. I do still have to condition following the clay cleanser. The thick/curly smells slightly better imo, but they both create manageable, pampered hair upon rinsing.

Just recently purchased this for my dry hair. Wow - it made my hair so soft after washing and was also a great styling product for a slick back! Can't believe how many natural ingredients and goodness is packed into this product

This is literally my first time writing a review for anything I’ve purchased from Sephora, and I’m a VIB Rouge girlie (or whatever they call it), but when I say this stuff is the TRUTH I mean it. I’m a Black woman with curly/coily hair and this stuff has been a game changer in my wash routine. . It softens my hair prior to washing and helps the product after to absorb better. This along with my detagling brush have helped me take my curls to the next level. I’m literally on my third cointainer and I don’t plan on going back. Absolutely love!!!!

I purchased a small size of the hair clay cleanser and conditioner to try, and immediately rushed back and purchased the prewash and a large container of the conditioner. I thought that they were packaged very well and the ingredients and formulation are high quality. I took off one star because the cleanser is really clarifying and basically strips all of the goodness that the prewash would provide right off of your hair and scalp. Also, this is not a product I would walk around in public in--this has an extremely strong scent of Turmeric. I do not mind that but it is not a floral or even herbal scent--it is straight up spice/seasoning. They try to cover it with a nice scent, but the dry down is full Turmeric. Anyway, I have 4A, medium density, coily/curly hair, with fine strands. I applied this and put on a plastic processing cap for an hour. This makes your hair so silky soft that I was excited to wash and condition with the full line. However, as soon as you use the clay cleanser, it strips that soft feeling from your hair. By the time I get to the styling portion of my regimen, my hair is kind of dry, which defeats the purpose. I hope that they make another cleanser that is not as stripping because the prewash and conditioner are exceptional. I can get 4-5 uses out of this container, which makes it worth the price. A really great, high quality prewash and I stopped prewashing years ago. This makes it totally worth the time it adds to a wash day.
