I’ve been using this shampoo for a couple of months now and I think it’s one of the best clarifying shampoos I’ve ever used. I have thick hair that’s bleached and I only wash it once MAYBE twice a week (depending on what’s going on). This shampoo isn’t meant for intense lather, it’s meant to remove the build up on your hair. Which personally I think does a great job. My exact hair wash routine is clarifying shampoo > hydrating shampoo > hair mask (let sit for 5-10 mins) > conditioner. This routine works great and once I only wash once a week and my hair is bleached so it really soaks up the conditioner. With this detox shampoo I would say i use maybe 1-2 tablespoons worth rub my hands together with it and then really focus on massaging my scalp since that’s where the most build up is. It doesn’t over strip my hair and by time I’m done with my whole shower/hair routine my hair is so shiny and so soft. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because I wish they made it in a bigger bottle. I do find that for the price point I go through the 8 ounce bottle rather quickly, especially with only having to wash my hair once a week.

My favorite shampoo!! Leaves hair feeling sooo clean!
I love this stuff but be aware, it says color safe but that means PERMANENT COLOR. Stripped my fashion color right out. Had a purple massacre in my shower I was SHOCKED.
I was skeptical trying this product at first but it did not disappoint. My hair feels cleaner than it ever has before.
This shampoo made my fine hair very frizzy and dry will never use again.
This doesn't lather much, which makes it hard to use. What's worse is that it only clarifies about half as well as the former version. This is a poor substitute. The previous version was my fave clarifying shampoo. I wish it had never been changed.
Three washes were necessary for the product to be effective. Initially, my hair had substantial oil buildup. The first wash did not lather well, but the second and third washes produced adequate suds. After the second wash, my hair felt squeaky clean but became stiff and tangled; however, it returned to normal after the third wash. To maintain moisture, I used a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioning treatment. After blow-drying, I noticed a significant improvement. It was evident that my hair required a detox. The efficacy of my hair products improved post-treatment. For regular use, I would prefer a gentler clarifying shampoo. This product provided the reset I needed.
Usually clarifying shampoos leave my hair feeling light and clean with good volume. This one made my hair very dull and wiry feeling. That combined with the high price made this a no-go for me.

My hair has been dry for WEEKS and I used another clarifying shampoo which stripped it and it got worse. This one in ONE wash fixed everything! Immediately it felt squeaky clean and actually took in the conditioer!
