This product was the one shampoo that completely cured my dandruff after many, many years! I have continued to use every 4th wash to keep things in check. Might dial it back to every 5 washes because it will certainly strip color. There's a faint scent of sulfur post-drying, so you may want to get a reasonably scented product to cover that up.

I would give it a 5 because it does work for dandruff BUT hair/scalp does smell burnt after use. After your hair air dries / blow dried, it smells burnt and it lingers.
This product was recommended by my hair stylist and I’ve used it once and it has cleared most of my flaking which is great because I’ve been having this problem for quite a while! My problem is that my scald now smells burned lol
I have naturally curly 3b hair, fine, medium density. This is my favorite selenium sulfide shampoo for my sensitive scalp. It has an herbal smell that I enjoy but may not be for everyone. Ive used this for the last 5+ years and will never be without it! Does a great job of removing product buildup and keeping dandruff under control when used regularly.
