The Volumizing Shampoo for Oily, Flat Hair

It does clean my sensitive scalp and fine hair. However, the Briogeo charcoal shampoo with coconut is doing a much better job and more cost effective. I ordered both at the same time and find better results with the other brand. This leaves my scalp a little greasy. be better results with the other brand.

I bought this after trying the Ouai Fine Hair Shampoo, which was also a pass because of the strange smell that lingered for days. I thought Crown Affair would be different since it has more of a spa-like scent, and I expected it to fade after washing my hair. Unfortunately, it was the exact same experience. The fragrance just does not go away and sticks around far longer than it should. On top of that, I didn't notice it doing anything for my fine hair. If anything, it made my hair feel greasier instead of adding volume. At this point, I don't think this is the right place to find a good volumizing shampoo. I'm going back to drugstore shampoos because they're much less expensive and, in my experience, they actually do something for my hair.

This shampoo has a nice gel consistency and smell with a great lather. Provides a deep clean, almost "squeaky" clean but does not seem to pull out my hair color. However, every time I use it, my hair and scalp feel dirty and look oily at day 2. I typically only wash my hair twice a week so I don't reach for this often. I have fine, thin, color treated hair with less than 25% grey, and soft water.

I bought the mini size to try it out before I spent a lot of money on a full size bottle. This is probably one of the best shampoo I have ever tried. After washing the shampoo and conditioner out your hair will feel full and heavy. It will feel like you won’t be able to brush it, but it’s the complete opposite. My hair is so full, shiny and soft. Not to mention the smell is so beautiful!

Love the smell of this shampoo! It makes my scalp clean and my hair smell good. Definitely gives my hair volume especially after blow drying it. I wish there was more product for the price point.

I like it. I have fine, curly hair. My hair has been looking more voluminous since I started using this. I like the smell as well. I think the bottle is too small/too expensive for what you get. I like it, but not sure I'd repurchase it... The nice thing is that I don't think it's very stripping at all! And I like the Crown Affair signature scent

I have wavy hair that is a little thin . This shampoo worked very well to clean my hair . It also helped to wash without cashing tangles . I also really enjoy that it didn’t leave any film or build up on my hair .

Crown Affair is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands for haircare. I recently tried the Crown Affair Volumizing Shampoo from Sephora and loved it. I tend to have an oily scalp and frizzy hair. This shampoo comes in a clear gel formula, but it suds up really well. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I did also feel like my hair felt noticeably thicker immediately after using this shampoo. I think it's from the rice protein. This shampoo also adds noticeable lift at the roots, and doesn’t weigh my hair down. My hair felt soft and looked fuller after a few uses. It also has a very luxurious scent, which makes it a pleasure to use. I found that scent lingered in my hair for a long time. Overall, I found this shampoo added a good amount of volume and body to my hair, but also kept it sleek and shiny. I think this size is perfect for travel or even discovering a new favorite.

I’ve been looking for a shampoo that cleans my hair without residue, and doesn’t cause frizz or dry out my thick, wavy hair. This shampoo smells great, deep cleans, but doesn’t seem to strip my hair. Even after air drying it, it doesn’t look frizzy or dry. Love.
