No.4 Fine Bond Maintenance™ Volumizing and Strengthening Hair Repair Shampoo

I recently tried the new fine hair formula for the shampoo and conditioner. I find the regular one works better for me, and I have VERY thin and fine hair. After using this product my hair got greasy the same day I shampooed it, whereas with the regular shampoo it took 2 days before it looked greasy. I figured it should work the other way around, since us with fine hair typically get greasy much faster.

No. Just no. I have very fine blonde white girl wavy hair. I used this once. One time. It stripped all moisture out of my hair. Felt like straw. I’ve used the regular olaplex shampoo/conditioner for years - never had this issue. It’s almost like they added a ton of really bad water to their product and was like “this is for fine hair now”. I had to put in serum, and a ton of weighted leave in conditioner just so I could run my fingers through it. I’m returning tomorrow.

Olaplex Shampoo & Conditioner (Fine Hair) More nourishing and treatment‑like Slightly heavier, but still suitable for fine hair Leaves my hair feeling stronger and smoother I use Olaplex about 2–3 times per month, almost like a built‑in treatment wash. My routine: Wash every 3–4 days Alternate two wash cycles with OUAI, then one wash with Olaplex The result is hair that feels soft, has great volume, and—most importantly—doesn’t get frizzy, even in summer humidity. I’m very happy to have found this balance, and I plan on sticking with this routine long‑term.

Honestly, if I could refund this free sample I would. I have NEVER had my hair look good after using this shampoo, it always looks bad and is so so tangled even after I use the most hydrating conditioner I own. I’m so

(I have dyed straight fine hair) Awful experience. This shampoo totally DRIED my hair. Unfortunately I am unable to return it because I wanted to try it a couple of times before judging it. Olaplex is very pricey but I wanted to give it a chance after all the rave. It’s frustrating looking for a good shampoo for fine hair, and I dont recommend anybody dealing with hair loss to waste their money on this.

After 2 months of using this product, the only good thing I can say is that it smells wonderful. I didn’t see any difference in volume and it made my scalp very dry. I didn’t have this issue with the one for regular hair

I’ve been using it for a few weeks and this product did not help with volume or strengthening. It doesn’t deliver on what it claims it will. It’s not worth the price.

I absolutely love this shampoo! I love the consistency of it, it's so unique compared to others I've used. The experience is very nice, withe the scent, the lathers and how nice my hair feels and looks after I use it. My hair is so much more healthier and actually has more volume. It cleans really well and I don't feel any residue left behind. The scent is really subtle but yest it's there. I like that the scent stays in my hair even after I get out of the bath. Overall I like it alot and love the benefits of it. It works great in combination with the conditioner.

Extremely excited to share with everyone my experience with the No 4 fine bond maintenance shampoo. This shampoo has helped me so much keeping my hair look and feel healthier and stronger than ever. It helps give my hair the volume I need and it gives me such an amazing natural healthy hair look and texture. While my hair is usually flat and no volume this definitely did the trick to help it look amazing. It’s very concerted formula will help you achieve your hair goals with just a small amount of shampoo, it lathers very quickly giving my hair a very soft and clean feel and after rinsing it it still smells so good you will not believe it. Small bottle but it will last you a while since it’s very concentrated and you won’t need a ton of it.
