Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint SPF 30

I used Laura Mercier tinted matte moisturizer for years. I loved it so much for light makeup days or when my skin felt dry and foundation would not go on smoothly. So naturally I was looking forward to trying the new formula since now the product description says blurring in addition to matte. I’m not sure what happened here, but this new formula is a joke. It felt like smearing a peanut butter on my skin. It is thick, super oily, and looks orange! Straight out from the tube the product was separating into clear liquid and tint no matter how long I shook it and it wouldn’t absorb into my skin. I actually bought it twice thinking that maybe I got a bad batch the first time. Nope, both tries produced same awful results. Please bring back the old formula and get rid of this oily mess.

I have oily skin, I always have used ester lauder double wear and since that product changed formula was searching for a replacement. Have tried many others and this is the same if not better! It says tinted moisturizer however I get the same coverage I did with ester lauder foundation, it evens out skin tone and is thicker so it covers without being heavy(some tinted moisturizers I find watery). I can rub this in with my hands or beauty blender, all is quick and blends right in. It is matte and holds ALL DAY, even in hot humid weather. I wore it in 90 degrees, 90% humidity while running a race and literally none came off. If you have oily skin and loved Estée Lauder original formula you will love this.

Product was NOT matte. My skin was already shiny and I hadn’t even stepped out of the bathroom. It also was a warm color on my neutral skin tone. Plus it has a tacky feel to it. I will keep trying it in different ways (with/ primer )without

Thanks so much to Laura Mercier who so kindly gifted me with a free Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint to try and review. This was such an awesome product to receive and test out, from the first application I was impressed. The tinted moisturizer goes on so smooth,covers, blends seamlessly and left my skin feeling completely moisturized under the matte finish. The tint provides full coverage similar to a foundation and only a single layer was needed for a full face. Application lasted during day and night, also continued to feel moisturized without a greasy feeling. The matte blur gave me such a smooth texture and looked as if my makeup had been professionally done. The color was unfortunately too dark for me, but I’d love to try it again with a shade that matches my skin tone. Really great product, quality as always and well worth a purchase in the near future.

This is the worst product ever. It is very thick and cakey and does not blend in. It’s not a moisturizer at all. It is more akin to war paint.

I’d give this about a 3.5 out of 5. I really wanted to love it because the idea of a blurred matte skin tint with SPF is perfect, and it does have some nice qualities. It feels lightweight on the skin and gives a soft, natural-looking finish at first. That said, the “blurred matte” effect didn’t fully live up to expectations for me. It looks good initially, but I noticed it didn’t stay as smooth throughout the day, especially in areas where I get a little oily. The coverage is also pretty sheer, so if you’re looking for more evening out, you might be a bit underwhelmed. It’s a solid everyday option if you like a light, natural look, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more longevity and performance. I’d use it again, but I’m not completely sold.

After using this product for a week, I can tell that my face is less oily. It gives a perfect mat. Look that I’m looking for and it has SPF in it. One more could ask for five out of five.

I’ve been using this tinted moisturizer for a few weeks now and I’m honestly impressed. I have oily skin and most tinted products either melt off or make me look greasy, but this one actually gives a soft matte, blurred finish that lasts. It evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy, and it doesn’t clog my pores or break me out. I also love that it has SPF 30, so it’s perfect for everyday wear. It looks super natural like your skin but smoother. Definitely a staple in my routine.

This tinted moisturizer is very smooth and easy to apply. I was impressed with how much coverage it has and it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I really recommend trying this for every day use.

The new formula is so orange. Cameo used to be spot on perfection and now is weirdly dark and warm. Laura Mercier - get your old formula back!!
