Forget Frizz Anti-Frizz Shampoo

Everytime I used this product, I felt like it wasn't fully cleaning my hair despite really rubbing it and making sure I got all of the conditioner (of this same line), out. For reference, I have thick wavy hair and usually my hair retains it's shape after washing and letting air dry. That was not the case with this product. Though my hair wasn't frizzy, it was devoid of any body, life, or shape. My hair is like limp which almost never happens to me! Would not recommend. I pair a drugstore shampoo with the amika soulfood mask and my hair looks much better.

Forced to admit that this is a great shampoo. I have naturally thick and dry hair, slightly wavy. This made my hair almost too shiny, a good problem to have. Also it smells amazing.

Leaves a waxy residue almost like a film over my hair to the point where I can put it in any style and it stays like I have actual styling wax in my hair. I have very long, thick, frizzy, wavy hair and I thought this would be a dream. I was incorrect.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This shampoo is so drying and doesn’t lather, the conditioner isn’t great either. I only like the smell and the bottle design but I would skip this one if you have fine hair.

I received this for free from Influenster in exchange for review I have thin, 2B/2C wavy hair, oily roots, prone to split ends. Currently no chemical or color treatment of any kind, all natural color and texture. The product had a pleasant fruity/floral scent, with a medium viscosity that did lather up quite nicely. I found this set to really suck the life out of my hair. While it did prevent frizz, it also took away any volume or shape that I have. My hair felt soft, but very flat and limp. My waves were weighed down and stretched out, and just didnt look well-formed. I did finish off both of these products, as they did do the job of cleansing and moisturizing and I didnt want to waste. These products retail for about $38 USD per piece. Overall, this duo was not for me, but i am glad I got to try it out no-cost so I didnt waste my money.

This is an absolute staple in my shower! I used to only use Drybar products and once I tried this, I am now a complete convert to AMIKA! My hair has never looked better and I get so many compliments since I started using this. Highly recommend. 

The new formula is SO BAD!!! I had used the original formula of Velveteen Dream and it was absolutely the best shampoo I had ever used. No matter what my hair would look and feel amazing. But now with the new formula my hair gets dull, dry at the ends and greasy at the roots. It looks awful and feels even worse, and it doesn’t even help with the frizz at all. I would never buy this again or recommend this product to anyone ever. I’m so disappointed because it’s not a cheap product, specially if you buy both shampoo and conditioner which is my case. So frustrating, DO NOT BUY!!!

After using this shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, my hair feels hydrated but it leaves a residue no matter how much I rinse it. The scent smells really good

Got the sample size as a few gift and can't believe how great it works. I've only used it a couple of times, but I can actually see the ending result. Whatever the scent is, I'm in love. I can't wait to buy the full size product.

After only one use, my coarse and frizz-prone hair was shiny, behaving well and forming perfect ringlets.
