Drawn This Way Long-Wear Waterproof Sharpenable Gel Eyeliner

This is honestly the best liner I've ever used. Pigmented, long lasting, and smudge proof. It is a challenge to get off, and do yourself a favor and get the Sephora sharpener with it. This will laugh at your other sharpeners. Love these!!

Too expensive for an eyeliner that gets eaten up by a sharpener. Also, I bought the Black gel eyeliner with flex of gold. Haven't seen any flex of anything. Disappointed Marc Jacobs! Compensate for the total uselessness, please!

The colors of these eyeliners are truly phenomenal, especially shade delulu. However, I find the formula quite mediocre. They’re not the creamiest and sometimes I find myself having to tug a bit to get the color payoff I want, and the lasting power isn’t the best. I find these do fade and can flake off throughout the day, and there’s so many better alternatives for a lot less money as well. Unfortunately, despite how excited I was for these, I wouldn’t repurchase them as they don’t seem all that special outside of the color range.

At first I was so excited because the old Marc Jacobs eyeliner was my absolute favorite! I have been trying to find a dupe since it was discontinued and when I saw this in the store I was over the moon! While the liner itself is ok, it does transfer but only when it’s immediately been put on, otherwise it’s fine all day. BUT, when I had to sharpen it for the 1st time, well let’s just say it’s absolute garbage. It just doesn’t sharpen at all. So it’s a return and my search for a dupe to the original MJ continues! Ugh

Very disappointed. Bought two of these because I was so excited it was back. This is not the same formula as it was before. This runs and gathers in the corners. The old formula outlasted my 12 hour shifts and did not run.

I used to believe that buying a prestige eyeliner was a waste of money and that my drugstore eyeliners were enough. I was wrong. This stays put so well in my waterline, no fading or smudging and the color I picked up is so niche for Sephora. The target customer for this product is someone who loves pops of color and longevity with their eyeliners. I read a few reviews that this doesn't sharpen well but I have had no issues with mine.

Love, love, love these eyeliners. I was so excited to see that Marc Jacob’s brought these back because they are the best. If you like more of a ‘gel’ like eyeliner, not pencil, these are for you. Super creamy, glides on easily and is long lasting. I have these in multiple colors and the pigmentation is also great.

This eyeliner doesn't smudge or smear and lasts all day. A new favorite, so much so I bought several more shades (black, brown, burgundy, glitter black, and bronze). Will be getting more of the "fun" colors soon too!

I have watery, oily, allergy ridden eyes. The Mark Jacobs Highliner Gel Eyeliner was the only eyeliner I have ever used that didn't smudge and wind up all underneath my eyes, even when I used it on my lash line. So when I saw that he was back, I have never hit submit so quickly on an order! Sadly though, this new formula is quite the disappointment. It's far too soft to allow for any sort of control and not only does it end up all underneath my eyes, it's incredibly difficult to sharpen. The old version came with a sharpener that worked great. This version does not. Out of three sharpeners, the only one that was slightly able to sharpen it was my NARS sharpener. However, right when I got the perfect point, it broke (see picture). Upon my second attempted sharpening it, it created a jagged point and left a significant piece of plastic protruding from the pencil (see picture), as it's a plastic based case. I won't be purchasing this particular pencil again. I hope they can bring back the old formula and bring it back soon!
