This has 5 stars because I love how strong the Herb Pharm tinctures are. For daily use I prefer glycerin or lowest alcohol but if I ever really need it, I want the strongest potency possible, which some say, means alcohol extracted. Milk thistle can be taken, as I understand, in very large quantities, to help counteract certain poisons, even snake bite, among other uses. Certainly I'd never use it by itself and get help, but it's nice to know that in the meantime, while help arrives, if you live in the country, there's something that can help. (I also heard that echinacea, of all things, is also good.) Do your own research, find out more if you're interested in those uses. Also, and more typically of course, milk thistle is used to cleanse the liver and I've used it for that too.

My hubby and I have been taking Milk Thistle for over 3 years. This is an easy supplement that we mix with water and has hardly no taste. We are very careful to try keep our liver detox and this is great especially for those who have no gallbladder. The quality of this is organic and the benefits are great. We are sold on this brand that is easy to take.
This is a great product with simple clean ingredients I use it to help with liver support and aid in removing toxins it’s good quality. The taste is strong so beware but you get used to it.

I prefer this because it’s drinkable. Silymarin is something very beneficial and herb pharm makes high quality herbal tinctures in general
not sure if it works but i have no pain, taste is fine once diluted in water, and seems to last for a while. It is small however

I take milk thistle for liver health and I find this easy to take, it seems to be absorbed well, and if you add it to a little water, the taste is pretty okay. It's great as part of a good detox. This is a great quality product and the size makes it easy to take with me
