I am exploring Turkish cuisine recipes right now and wanted to make sure I had this spice on hand. It has a lovely taste, just ever so slight amount of heat. I am using it to make an oil (or butter) drizzle to go on top of lentil soups and Turkish breakfast eggs. thank you frontier co-op for carrying this slightly more unusual crushed pepper. High quality. I have a feeling I will be going through this jar pretty quickly.
This little bottle adds zip to every dish you make. It is not too spicy or hot but just enough heat to jazz up a dish. I add it to almost all baked dishes when the recipe requires black pepper. This is my go to pepper for everything. A little bit goes a long way. High quality taste, high quality ingredients.
I've just been using red chili flakes in dishes, but I think this takes dishes to a different level. There's a smokiness that's different from the typical red chili flakes.
