This brand of Swanson strontium was the only one I could find without a bunch of fillers or binders. It has clean ingredients. I take this for my back pain and bones for a 60 year old. My mother was diagnosed with osteoporosis and after a year on strontium, it improved to only osteopenia. I take much less than the recommended dosage because too much is not healthy.
The dosage per capsule is just right, you have the flexibility to adjust your total dosage. Strontium is one of the important supplements for bone health, as long as you take it away from calcium. Price is reasonable, thanks Swanson.
I started using it as a dietary supplement to benefit my bones. I use it frequently, every day. The ingredients, mineral is just what I need to improve my symptoms of osteopenia. I like it because has no taste and I can swallow it easily.
think this is helping my bone mass solidify/densify somewhat. I find strontium a little risky, next to the benefits , the quality, ingredients (citrate natural form) and that we can get deficient, it also carries some risks according to the research, so i don't want to use it for too long. And take away from calcium they compete
Strontium used with Calcium Citrate is an excellent supplement for bone health with A grade ingredients. The ingredients are not upsetting to my stomach - easy to use!
I didn’t want a full dose so I had half in water and the taste was not pleasant. But I trust that it is helpful for my bones. Apparently helps reverse osteoarthritis!
It’s hard to say because I have to wait until I go get my bone scan in like a year. I’ll be able to say more after that. I’ve been using pure encapsulations. I was just trying to find something a little cheaper. My bone scan after using the pure encapsulation for a couple years. My provider was shocked that my bones had gotten stronger I had osteopenia and it had gotten better. She had never heard of Strontium.
This is a one month supply if you take two a day, and it's not too expensive. I don't know if it's any better or worse than other brands, but I like Swanson products. I'm currently using another brand that is a little better value, but I would order this again.
