I'm 73 and have been taking this for a few years. My bone density test came back quite good. Strontium has been shown to build bones far more effectively than calcium. You do have to be careful to take it long before or long after taking calcium or eating a food high in calcium. The two "fight" with each other to be absorbed.

I take the strontium as directed "on an empty stomach or at least 2 hours before or after consuming food or supplements". One or two capsules can be taken per day depending on one's bone health. This is a very pure product with only strontium citrate in the capsule which is composed of hypromellose and purified water. Have seen my DEXA scan improve. I feel safer using strontium versus the conventional medications that are prescribed.

I buy this product as it has no additives, I have been on strontium for 3 years but not retested for osteopenia to date, I did initially introduce calcium as my levels sits a touch low but being high in 'lead' could give a false picture as lead mimics calcium in the body so not sure if I should take calcium with this product? any thoughts on this welcome
