I found out the vitamin c I was taking wasn’t that effective, but this one is. According to my research- Acerola fruit is highly beneficial due to its exceptionally high Vitamin C content, which supports the immune system and boosts collagen production for healthier skin and connective tissues. It also provides other antioxidants and nutrients. Looking forward to a healthy cold/flu season!

I ordered this vitamin C since I had enough of the synthetic form and it works well, I feel it more potent than ascorbic acid.
Swanson is a good quality brand. Since it's a capsule, there is no taste to worry about. Just not sure if it's as effective as a Vitamin C capsule Each capsule contains 500 mg of Acerola extract, which is a fantastic natural source of vitamin C llove that this supplement comes from a natural fruit source rather than synthetic vitamin C. Potent and effective, acidity is zero. Packaging is good and acerola cherry is very high in antioxidants. If you're looking for an effective, natural source of vitamin C, I highly recommend this Acerola supplement!
The size is manageable and they don’t have any aftertaste, which I appreciate. After a few weeks, I noticed I wasn’t catching colds as easily and my energy felt a bit steadier. It’s hard to say if that’s just coincidence, but I do feel healthier overall. The only downside is that the bottle runs out pretty quickly if you take them daily, so I wish it came in a larger size. Still, it’s a good natural source of vitamin C and I’ll probably keep it in my routine.
Swanson Acerola 500 mg 60 capsules For me it is the best source of vitamin C. I like the price / quality ratio of this product, the very high concentration and the high absorption rate in the body. The ingredients do not affect my digestion at all, compared to other sources of vitamin C that I have tried.
I received a recommendation for this vitamin as one of the purer forms of vitamin C. I use it in combination with regular vitamin C.
Size: easy to swallow Taste: tasteless Quality: I have no side effect so far, skin looks better with use of glutathione Acidity: no taste, so cannot comment
I had read that acerola is a vitamin C powerhouse, and I was looking for a potent natural vitamin C supplement, for its antioxidant properties and to support my immune system in the cold months, as well as collagen production for a supple skin into my fifties. My skin does look fantastic, at least a decade younger if not more, though I do many other natural and probably more important things to keep it that way. I also rarely get sick. Though I cannot say how much this supplement contributes to any of it, I am happy with the quality and ingredients, and keep buying it over and over again.
I’ve been taking Swanson Acerola for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. Acerola is known as a natural source of vitamin C, and I can definitely feel the difference in my energy and immunity. I used to catch colds more often, but since starting this supplement, I’ve noticed I recover faster and feel stronger overall. The tablets are easy to take, and they don’t upset my stomach like some synthetic vitamin C supplements do. I also like that it’s a more natural option compared to standard ascorbic acid. Overall, it’s a great supplement if you’re looking to boost your immune system and add extra antioxidants to your daily routine.
Acerola, also called Barbados cherry, is a small tropical fruit that packs an astonishing dose of vitamin C. In fact, it contains far more than oranges—making it a natural powerhouse for immunity, collagen production, and skin health. Alongside vitamin C, acerola offers antioxidants, carotenoids, and flavonoids, giving it an extra edge in protecting cells from damage. As a supplement, acerola often comes in powders, capsules, or chewables. Many use it for a natural energy lift, better recovery from colds, or to support radiant skin. The taste is tangy and slightly sour, which can be refreshing in drinks. Side effects are rare, though very high doses may upset the stomach.
