I use this as an adaptogen for an herbal tea blend I drink regularly. I like to mix this with rose hipe, and hawthorn berry. It has a very pleasant flavor that's somewhat tart but refreshing.
1 lb is a large package, it will last a good long while. I think the price for the size is reasonable for good quality organic schisandra berries. I got this to make a tea blend, trying to replicate something I tried and really loved, but was too expensive (in tea bags) to have on an ongoing basis. I'm looking forward to experimenting to create my blend, and also looking for other ways to use schisandra berries. I know they are an amazing adaptogen with lots of benefits. My one concern is that they are sourced from China. I respect Starwest Botanicals for being honest and transparent about that, and I trust them so I'm trusting that the quality is good.
The quality of this schizandra berry is exceptional! It cold brewed beautifully, then steeped strained berries with boiling water to produce a 2nd extraction, combining the cold & the hot brews. Delicious & beneficial!!

I like to make tea with these berries. Pair well with my other tea such as Hawthorn, licorice. Add ginger, lemon to it, too. Yum.
I love the taste of these berries. I grind the up and add the powder to water, along with ground up hibiscus. I use it during the follicular phase of my cycle.
The Berries are quality whole dried with no extra crushed up bits on the bottom. Schisandra Berries are a very unique taste i recommend pairing with hibiscus and some fruit. 15 grams is all you need for maximum health benefits. You'll have to decoction the berries in a tea kettle for 20+minutes for maximum health benefits
Strong taste to use in moderation it is good for liver as it acts as tonic

I use this as an ingredient in my liver detox tea. It is high quality. I use 3 or four berries per serving. The taste is great. I put the package in a ziplock to preserve freshness. It is a great price for the amount. No caffeine. I use it every day. It’s a big bag so may servings. Added benefit is the taste!
