The quality of this product is amazing.However, pay attention to the name! The Indian dessert Ghee, that I received in a glass 8 Oz container is flavored! And tasted like…well, indian dessert.
In the past I’ve ordered the Original Ghee, which comes in 15 Oz plastic container and tastes neutral. Same brand, organic, grassfed. Personally I’m really disappointed and can’t use it for frying eggs or cooking without feeling the Indian dessert flavor.

The quality of this dessert ghee is definitely there, and the composition is smooth and creamy. A little goes a long way because the flavor and aroma are very intense. The ghee feels very natural and high quality, but the taste of cardamom in it is a bit too specific for my personal taste. The packaging is average in size but lasted me a long time. I ended up using it mostly for baking, since the flavor was a bit too strong to use as plain ghee. Still, it’s a good product — just depends on whether you like that cardamom note.
