nice size, firmness and texture without being overly chewy. these are naturally high in sodium so spice or pepper helps balance that out. one thing i like about patagonia is they do not go heavy handed with the smoke so it comes across and the notes are apparent but it does not interfere with the mussel itself. the excess broth would soak up well with a large grain white rice or thicker noodle. i have had canned mussels that were better than these and they were from Ria de Arosa but at almost double the cost. patagonia is expanding its line of fish and i truly hope iherb stocks more new items from them in the future because they are excellent

honestly they taste ok, nothing special and they pretty small but they are of good quality. I think I prefer sardines tho
I'm not sure sure about the extra Virgin oil as mine was kind of watery but they were good. I ate them all. It's just.I was expecting a little more oily contrast
very nice, seemed high quality and tasted really good. smell is not as bad as you would expect (my first time eating tin mussels so I didnt know what to expect). I used on top of toast with some chilli oil on top and it was amazing. size is also good.
It's good quality and good taste, nice flavor. I love seafood so I tried it and it's good sizing and easy to open it.
These mussels feel like a little coastal escape in a can: smoky yet ocean-fresh, buttery from the olive oil, and with a satisfyingly meaty bite. Spoon them over warm pasta or crusty bread and drizzle a bit of the oil — instant, elevated comfort food.
Tasty mussels in a can that doesn’t taste too canny
This one was far better than other tinned mussels I've tried. The texture and flavor were good and it was low in calories and had decent protein
These smoked mussels are packed with bold flavor—the smokiness pairs beautifully with the extra-virgin olive oil, making them taste gourmet right out of the can. The mussels are tender, plump, and high quality, with no gritty texture. I also appreciate that Patagonia Provisions uses sustainable harvesting practices. Perfect with crackers, bread, or tossed into pasta for an easy elevated meal!
I love that Patagonia is making food. These mussels were tasty but some still had their “beards” which I wasn’t used to. It was a little off putting. May have been a fluke.
