This is my favorite loose-leaf peppermint tea. It's large leaf and the volatile oils in peppermint are very easy to smell since it's potent, which is what you want if you're buying peppermint since that's where the benefits lie. Peppermint helps soothe the stomach, calms down IBS related cramps and angry tummy woes, and it's so stress-relieving too. Peppermint is also a natural anti-spasmodic so it's great for GI spasms related to stress and IBS. I store this in mason jars and use it as a tea in reusable tea bags (I've also added the leaves straight into a smoothie before!).

Peppermint tea is good to settle the stomach. But, you do need to be careful not to have it with or immediately after a meal because it can interfere with iron absorption.

Very bitter taste when i made tea, tried to use a strongly and weak brew. It is a real shame since the size of the bag was big. Very disappointed and will be requesting a refund due to poor quality. I understand this is likely due to a bad batch and usually the product is better than this.

This brand of Starwest Botanical organic peppermint whole leaf tea is fresh and tasty. I'm glad I bought it; I mix it with green tea throughout the day and also my sleepy tea at night. It is a great price for an entire pound of organic peppermint herb.

My favourite evening tea especially after a big meal. I like to mix 1 tsp of peppermint leaves with 1 tsp yarrow flowers or 1 tsp chamomile flowers and steep for 5-10 minutes using iHerb's tea strainer

I enjoy the zip packaging of this product a lot, and the size is huge! Also, it seems to be high quality and has a very pleasant and fresh aroma. I tried mixing it with tea and it was better than on its own. Overall, I think I prefer a sweeter mint variety like Moroccan, but this is a very economical alternative.
