Nice aroma and easy to use in stews and roasts. I haven't tied in salads yet as I think this blend would be too strong for some types of salads. May I will in the future. Now we will start the summer months, I will use this more frequently, even in savoury baking and meat skewers in the oven. No need to look up recipes, just put some of this blend in your meat marinades and you are good to go!

I first tried za'atar in Jordan, I just can't live without it. I got the za'atar spice to bring back on memory, but it absolutely has no flavor. It's supposed to have sesame, thyme, oregano, marjoram and sumac, but can't taste any of this, esp the sesame! I also got Aleppo pepper from this lack of flavor brand, again, absolutely flavorless. Please don't waste your dignity and cash like this!

The zaatar is amazing. All you have to do is add salt according to your taste. Premium quality premium package size. You can use it with olive oil while making manakeesh or just sprinkle it on anything or use in any recipe.
