Since these are capsules there's no taste at all, which is a benefit over powders and drinks. I've been using these for hydration before and during outdoor exercise and notice much less fatigue. These electrolytes in a capsule are a very convenient product. No additives and a good ratio of electrolytes. I put a few in a little pill storage bag in my bag, with some maple syrup crystals in a tiny container so I always have something on me when my body gets tired. All you need is some water to take it. When it is hot weather, when you are on a longer hike, when you are sweating a lot, all good opportunities to support your body with these electrolytes. I have taken them a few times now, with some water and a bit of maple syrup crystals, and I always feel better afterwards.
I suffer from POTS and the Doctor said hydration and electrolytic retention is crucial to help manage it. I take one capsule most days, and 2 on days where I will be especially active and sweating.
