The product description and expectations were very high. But the taste. The small spoon included in the package overpowers even the unflavored protein powder, immediately giving it a chemical aftertaste. It's like a super-concentrate. It would be great if there was an unflavored version. It's neutral.
I would give this product a full 5 stars for its quality and effectiveness, though the taste is a bit overwhelming for my personal preference. The strawberry flavor is extremely fruity and sweet, and the inclusion of artificial sweeteners leaves a lingering aftertaste. Personally, I would love a version of this vegan collagen that is clean and free from sweeteners. That said, the benefits are undeniable. Since using Dr. Murray’s VeCollal®, I’ve noticed a real improvement in my joints, tendons, and ligaments—I no longer experience the cracking and stiffness I used to. The 16 oz size is generous, providing plenty of product to support consistent use, which is key for seeing results.
I am so happy with Dr. Murray's VeCollal. Being vegan I worried about not being able to have an adequate collagen intake, but not anymore. The benefits have been great, with strong nails, heathy hair and just an overall better sense of fortitude. It is so easy to take, I just mix in with a little water. The strawberry flavor is delicious, I look forward to it in the morning.
I am very on the fence about the actual efficacy of oral collagen for skincare and joint benefits. Was prompted to try this after reading a convincing study on Vellacol. I don’t notice any remarkable difference yet. The taste is not good, way too much artificial sweetener. Product gets a little clumpy after a while, it may be best to transfer to a sealed container rather than keep in its original packaging. Overall I am happy to have a vegan option for collagen and I am willing to give it more time before writing it off as snake oil.

I would give it 5 start but taste is sooooo strong. It's fruity taste but veeery fruity, sweet and artificial sweetners always leave aftertaste. I would prsonally love to have clean and no sweeetners vegan collagen... I feel the effect cos I don't have cracking of my tendons and ligaments! great job dr. Murray!

I’ve been wanting to try collagen but was turned off by the animal and fish consumption. Learned about this brand from Dr. Dray on Youtube. The flavor is good mixed in water, although, I hope they come out with an unflavored version. I think I’m seeing a difference (slight) after using it for 6 weeks. The price is relatively high but I’m willing to pay a little more for quality ingredients
