Oat fiber powder is just the fiber from oats, but it looks and acts like gluten-free oat flour. I use it as filler to make a thicker oatmeal or soup. My other fiber powder is bamboo, which is whiter and lighter. Mixed together they have a nice, airy texture. But alone, oat fiber powder is heavy in comparison. Nutricost's version is a paler yellowish-brown compared to NuNaturals, and it doesn't smell as much like oats, if you are considering it for recipes. It works well in protein bar recipes with chocolate, but not a recipe that features a lighter flavor like vanilla or orange. The fiber is very fine but dense (like regular flour).

Great to add fibre and also makes my baking feel more like bread or cake with this added in. Something I can’t be without with my keto life style.

It's getting very difficult to find wheat free bread. Today's wheat is so modified and toxic that I'm always looking for great recipes to use other kinds of grains

This oat fiber is great quality. It is hard to find in a store

I make epic protein waffles and this boosts the fiber. the flavor is fine if you keep it somewhat moderate amount

First, I trust Nutricost quality. Second, when I do my low-carb baking , a little of this added to the mix adds a level of quality and taste to the finished product.

We use GF products at home so I used this a thickener for tofu sauce. Worked perfectly with no added flavor. It's the new prefered thickener for us.
