I used it when I was sleeping or tired, but I couldn't tell if it calmed me down. I decided to try these patches during a period of constant stress at work. To be honest, I was quite skeptical at first and didn't expect any results. They stick well and stay on almost all day, although one corner started peeling off in the heat. I noticed that by the evening I felt less stressed and more able to recharge after a long day of work. It might not work the same for everyone, but I personally liked this approach more than constantly taking calming supplements.
