Borage Oil, 60 Softgels

I've been taking borage oil for decades and this is part of the reason I look way younger than my age. (The other part is I take a truckload of natural supplements and anti-oxidants, don't ever ingest chemicals, not even thru my skin!) I take it for PMS and it helps with hormonal imbalances. I'll take 3 per day. When the estrogen dominance exhaustion kicks in I up to 6 per day. It gives a small boost.

Gives me a little boost during extreme PMS fatigue. (I have severe adrenal failure). However it takes a minimum of 6 per day of these to see just a little "lift". When I started borage oil in the late 80's it helped with weight loss. I guess my body got used to it, it no longer makes a difference in that dept. Excellent borage oil overall and great price! ---UPDATE: I quit taking this internally years ago, due to extreme side effects, most notably very vivid nightmares. (I found plenty others discussing this!) However, it's amazing on my face so I'll keep buying it. One caveat: can't find it pure in bottle form & the manuf. doesn't know what the source country this plant comes from but is tested for purity in the US.

GLA is an important fatty acid especially if you have some skin or hair troubles. There is no need to buy other brands with a softgel of 1,200 mg because they don't have more GLA than this one. Honestly, just get this brand. The GLA concentration is the most important when you compare the price for Borage oil. The softgels are big but easy to swallow. They look like Omega3 softgels. The price is good. The bottle is big but I would appreciate a bottle for 6 months.

LS! I bought this because of a publication in the September 2018 Magazine of Life Extension. There it is claimed that it helps with neuroinflammation and neurological diseases. I have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia. A disease often associated with neuroinflammation. It is hard to tell whether it actually helps, but I expect it to do good in the long run. GLA Borage Oil will help give me a beautiful skin. Thanks to iHerb I can afford to buy this product. Thanks a lot iHerb!
