I’ve been using this product for the past 5-6 years on and off because of it’s high quality ingredients and ofcourse for its health benefits. I mainly take it for my hair and heart health. I’ve also taken this omega when I was on Roaccutane and my blood levels showed high cholesterol. My doctor told me to start omega and it helped lower my cholesterol.
I tried this product for a couple of months, and generally felt better on 1 a day. I felt a bit more energy, and less arthritic and fibromyalgia pain whilst I was on it. I then decided to change to another high quality fish oil from iherb, to see if I could get further improvement, but the reverse happened. Within just 4 days, I experienced considerably more pain all over, but once I returned to Renew Life Supercritical fish oil, the pain started to reduce again with just a couple of capsules. Will now increase these to 2 or more a day to see if I can get more improvement.
I have been taking these softgels for 3 years. It started with a chronic case of dry eyes, and a suggestion from my ophthalmologist, The dry eyes are over, though it takes about a full year to get the full benefit from fish oil. I've grown to appreciate the effects the higher levels of EPA and DHA are having on my heart and overall health. I highly recommend Norwegian Gold Super Critical Omega. I never taste them once taken.
These are great fish oil capsules. No fishy taste ever, and I only have to take one a day. It may be coincidence, but I also haven't gotten sick since I've been taking them (even when everyone around me had the flu). My only concern is that the fish oil industry may be contributing to overfishing. I have early onset OA, and my doctor recommended a fish oil supplement. If that weren't the case, I probably would just use a Flax oil product like Barlean's (wonderful brand, I recommend the highest lignan Flax oil soft gels).
I like how straightforward this product is with no complications. It helps me stay on track with my health goals.

This product is high quality. It has really good EPA to DHA ratio (4:1) and this ratio is important if you are taking Omega 3 for dry eyes. Easy to swallow and did not have any fishy smells.
Not sure what happened to this company's one high EPA product. It had greater benefit for mood and inflammation. This is too high in DHA to really benefit with the omega 3 EPA in that way. I have exceptional cholesterol because of these and it helps fight inflammation. Great for heart health and your hair.
