Excellent sprouting seeds. Easy to use, easy to sprout in my sprouting jar. Grows deliciously delicate little sprouts, with a nutty flavour and a very subtle peppery note. Recommended 👍💯

after researching which sprouts are the healthiest, alfalfa and mung beans were highly rated. iherb cancelled my sprouting jar for unknown reason so I purchased a whole sprouting kit on eBay for same price and I'm on my way to sprouting. will update for taste and quality.
These Alfalfa sprouts have become an essential part of my daily diet. I add them to salads and sandwiches and they’re especially handy when I don’t have any other fresh greens at home. They’re a great source of vitamins A, C, E and K, as well as folate and minerals. Fresh, easy to grow and something I always like to have on hand.
After purchasing these sprouts and looking up recipes and ideas how to use them I ran into a lot of information about the dangers of alfalfa sprouts. I wrote NOW and they got back to me very quickly and assured me of the quality of their products. Sent me links about their testing sources. I trust the info they gave me. Sprouts were delicious!
We've grown these in a large clear glass jar a couple of times. They grow very fast and it's a great addition to your salad. We still have so much left after growing them twice in a large jar. However, there are (of course) a lot of dead seeds that won't grow.
I really ordered the alfalfa seeds to enrich the soil with nitrogen which I learned from my agriculture classes long ago. Farmers would plant it as they rotated their crops. It grew readily.
These are better seeds than the brand I used to use. With that brand, about half of the seeds wouldn't sprout. So I did my usual 2 tablespoons in a quart mason jar with these seeds--all the seeds sprouted--almost overflowed the jar! It's awesome to have fresh sprouts on demand.
I have been buying seeds from iherbs and from this brand. Always satisfying.
The seeds are very easy to germinate. I harvest them each 4-5 days. And I can save tons of money as don’t need to buy the expensive microgreen in the market.
