I have a genetic blood disorder, so I am destined to be anemic and suffering from iron deficiency. In case you don't know, our body uses iron to make hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body, and myoglobin, a protein that provides oxygen to muscles. Your body also needs iron to make some hormones. This is the third iron formula I've tried the past year - I like it the most actually. I was on a higher potency of iron before but was still constantly cold, but I don't feel that way anymore ever since I started this particular supplement. My consumption frequency is one per day.

I like most of Solaray products which is high quality ingredients, this supplement has none-heme iron that comes from plants, although i always preferred heme-iron, vegans with iron deficiency can take this supplement to elevate their iron levels but I don't recommend to take iron supplements for a long time and take iron from animals organs like liver, iron deficiency symptoms include chronic fatigue, chest pain, headache and dizziness, and pale face.... this iron has a good package size and reasonable price, important note when you take the supplement take it on empty stomach

Bought for my mum who has low iron she felt an energy boost while taking this. Wasn’t as constipating as other brands she’s taken and overall gentle on the tummy. She would take it with vitamin C for extra absorption.
