Californian Poppy has been really helpful to calm my frayed nerves peri- and postmenopausal. I take it occasionally and it works gently and there is no hangover feeling. I use it as needed in the day as well as for settling me to sleep. Non habit forming. Great alternative to anxiolytic medication.
I get shock in my face from TN. This relaxes my spasms. I reccommend California Poppy herbal extract.
I was really hoping this California Poppy Extract would help with my anxiety and sleep issues, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I didn't notice any calming effects or improvement in my sleep quality whatsoever. Quality: The extract itself seemed fine, it had a typical herbal taste and the liquid consistency was as expected. Ingredient: It seems to be pure California Poppy extract as advertised, but perhaps the potency is low? Size: The 2 fl oz bottle is a decent size for the price. Dosage: I followed the recommended dosage instructions carefully. Benefit: Sadly, I experienced absolutely no benefits. Taste: It has a strong, earthy taste that's not unpleasant, but it lingers a bit. Overall, this product just didn't work for me. I wouldn't recommend it, and I won't be purchasing it again.
It's a good potency for an alcohol formulation. I would prefer a glycerin one though, but it will do for now. I need to give it a bit more of a chance, (take it for a longer period of time), to get a better idea of the efficacy of this formulation as it compares to the other one I was using. Packaging and shipping is good.

The flavour is crazy strong - have water nearby when taking it! It's a great product otherwise.
