The taste is very good, good value for the size too. I love to create a chocolate recipe with melted coconut oil on cold bananas, it goes hard like chocolate!
The carob powder is perfect. Frontier Foods always delivers on quality goods! It has been a great addition to making our rye bread (just a bit adds good color and adjusts texture to rye bread). I like the sweet flavor of carob. This is light roasted, so it's not to dark/roasty flavor like some other carobs I've had.
I bought this because i found a recipe for a walnut brownie protein smoothie (banana, carob, walnuts, protein powder) and it is delicious! It doesn't leave a chalky taste, like the carob of my childhood-definitely recommend this high quality product
If you want a lower-fat, caffeine-free option with high fiber and calcium. Since it's naturally sweet, it can also reduce the need for added sugar in recipes. Great for kids recipes with lots of benefits. The packaging could improve because it's just a bag that can't be resealed.
