Organic China Black Tea, Orange Pekoe, 16 oz (453 g)

My husband has to have his cold sweet tea and I have been looking for a organic black tea to replace his name brand tea that he has been using for a very long time. I have tried many brands, never to his satisfaction until now. He loves this tea, though he does not yet know it is organic.. or that I have replaced his old tea...he just thinks his old tea has improved flavor. :)

I use this tea among others to brew makeup tea for kombucha. This black tea works well. I'm pleased it is organic. The taste is fairly clean, not muddy like sometimes black teas can get. I keep the brew temp at 180F and leave it brew for maybe 20 minutes. Normally I use Numi organic black tea, but the Frontier is a bit lower cost and easier to obtain.

Frontier is a very reputable company and offer a wide variety of herbs. I wasn’t able to purchase them from a local health food store anymore so I am so glad iHerb sells their herbs here! I personally use this tea to make kombucha and it is so wonderful! I use a metal tea ball to brew it for 10-15 minutes. The larger tea leaves (as opposed to the crushed ones found in pre-packaged tea bags) provide a wonderful amount of flavor and aroma. I highly recommend it!

This tea is delicious for iced tea and kombucha. Will definitely be buying this again regularly because I don't want the plastic tea bags anymore.

I find this a nice cuppa for everyday. Nice aroma, clean leaves, no complaints.

This is the only tea we use now for our sweet tea. Best bang for your buck as far as organic tea!

I use this in a french press to make tea for sweet tea and it’s very good! It lasts me such a long time, is less wasteful and better quality. Will definitely continue using.

I’m honestly so bummed that this is discontinued! This was my absolute favorite "daily driver" for a morning cuppa. It was the perfect Orange Pekoe—super smooth, naturally a bit sweet, and never got that bitter, dry taste even if I left the leaves in a bit too long. Since it was organic and came in that massive 1lb bulk bag, the value was unbeatable.
