Organic Seasoned Vegetable Base, 8 oz (227 g)

This product adds so much flavour to my meals. I used it for soups, stews, and even couscous. I was expecting a powder, but it's a thick paste. For couscous I added a teaspoon to 2 cups of boiling water. It came out fantastic. The size is good and it comes in a glass packaging.

I’m not vegetarian, and usually use chicken or beef base. My son is a great cook, and he told me to add the vegetable base if your dish needs a little something extra. It really works and goes well with the chicken or beef base. You don’t need a lot. It really does add a great flavor. As with all Better than Bullion products , taste before adding salt.

I have been using this product for several years now and is a must for all soups and stews that I make. Many times a recipe calls for vegetable broth and I will use water and Bettter than Boullion instead. Iam so happy that it also is an organic product as well. This little jar goes a long way too.

There are three things I can’t live without: Better Than Bouillon Garlic base, Vegan Chicken base, and Vegetable base. I use at least one of them every single day. I don’t know what I would do without this product. I had a friend over for dinner one day and he saw me using it while I was cooking. He said, “Is this a jar of vegetable stock?” I replied, “No, that’s a jar of compliments, because without it, I would never get any.” :^) Seriously, you need to get this product, and to all of my carnivorous friends, try the vegan chicken stock. I fool all of my friends. None of them can believe it’s vegan and they all say my vegan “chicken” soups taste better than the real thing. Please try it, you won’t regret it. The garlic base is perfect for cooking vegetables by reducing the stock into a garlic demi-glace with herbed sea salt, EVOO, and garlic paste. The vegetable stock is just a perfect condensed replacement for traditional liquid stock, but much easier to store and a concentrate that allows you to control the richness. I searched multiple stores for a gravy that did not have any animal products and could find any. I have set to stock my cupboards with various products that meet my dietary needs. This quality product is organic can be used for more than just gravy.

This is one of my favorite bouillon products. As a vegetarian, I look for products that offer great taste, are good quality, and easy to use. This works for me!

I purchased this product very reluctantly at first, I admit. However since my son's girlfriend is vegan, I thought I'd give this "bouillon" a try. To my greatest delight, I end up using it for myself as well! It's very tasty and easy to be used as a base for countless recipes!

The best store bought bouillon you can get. When I don't have the time or energy for homemade better than bullion is my go to. I love to use it for a quick and easy broth for ramen.

This is better than any dried bouillon cubes and easier to use. You can easily add flavor to soups, braises, or recently discovered a recipe to use to massage into cabbage for a delicious side dish. We always have this in our pantry/fridge. Having it be organic is a plus too!
