Ume Plum Concentrate, 1.4 oz (40 g)

Eden Foods Ume Plum Concentrate has truly been a lifesaver for me. I invented a potion of ume plum and turmeric that has done wonders for my gall bladder and pancreas. The ume plum concentrate comes with a plastic spoon that measures 1 gram. I use a coffee mug full of simmering water and add one rounded spoon of ume plum, then 1 heaping teaspoon of either fresh or dry ground turmeric. You'll need to really wiggle the tiny spoon of ume plum in the mug of hot water to dissolve off the spoon. Stir well, and let cool just till cool enough to drink. The turmeric tends to settle at the bottom, so keep it stirred up until you've finished drinking. Take this daily. It's also great to help prevent colds the flu, and as a general alkalinize and anti-oxidant.

I only started to use the Ume Plum Concentrate. I wanted to try the Ume without high sodium like in Umeboshi. The main ingredient is Ume Plum fruit called Japanese apricot too. I put in a hot green tea or other hot tea and has a sour taste like lemon.

This is a pure ingredient, high quality Ume plum concentrate. It has a fresh, tart taste and I use it at night in a hot tea. I feel great after taking. It smells lovely and is supposed to be beneficial for digestion. The bottle is tiny, but there are 27 servings. It comes with a tiny one gram spoon. You can use a rounded spoon in a glass of hot water for tea. I recommend it.

Truly exceptional product with obviously high grade plum used and made very well. For what to expect, it's a ultra concentrated form so it's small but don't let that discourage you because a tiny (a small spoon comes inside the package) goes a long way. It's great just to stir into hot water to sip if you enjoy the tart and cleansing Japanese ume-plum flavor but it's a versatile product. Highly recommend. One thing worth adding is that it's a tad sticky but again , not sugary and it can be safely stored at room temp so it's easy to manage.

It tastes like a sour plum, I expected more sour, but I guess I'm used to the limit of sourness (I like sour!) Just a bit of it with lemon, salt and hot water to pour of a fish is very tasty! I also noticed layer that day that my stools were out which is good.. To all those who complain it's not a supplement.. True.. It's not! It's seasoning! And it's great!

I think drinking a cup after each meal could help with digestion, but the bottle doesn’t have a safety seal, so I feel a bit uneasy. I think it would be better to add a safety seal.”

Slightly tart. It’s not a whole lot of product but a little goes a long way. If I had more money, I would buy more of it. I do feel good consuming it for the health benefits that everyone talks about. Eden is a topnotch food brand.
