This is a rare unsalted, no oil crunchy snack. It is one ingredient like the name says Just Peas. Great just out of the bag or as a salad topping.
I just got these for the first time. They are crunchy and make a good snack. Also plan on getting a lot more to have during hurricane season. If we lose power this will make a good, healthy snack.

I brought several bags of these peas to Savannah with me because I knew I'd be eating bread pudding, pralines, desserts, etc. I would carry a bag in my purse and eat a couple mouthfuls before beginning my dessert at a restaurant. I believe, based on Glucose Goddess's book and other studies, than fiber/resistant starch right before sweets can slow down/blunt blood sugar absorption.
