I keep a bottle of Astragalus to use for cold and flu because of its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Also, I used it daily for prophylactic. I alternate astragalus with oregano oil every 2 weeks. But it may be used daily for up to 3 months. Unfortunately, it is not available in Europe anymore. I use the 12:1 extract from Paradise at the moment.
I started taking this Astragalus back in February religiously and because I USED TO BE a very sicky 52 year old woman. Last Winter, I had bronchitis for 2 months! Since taking this product, I've only been sick once and had bronchitis again but it only lasted 5 days and I have COPD. That's amazing to me!!! I will always keep Astragalus on from iHerb (which is incredibly reasonably priced) in stock at my apartment! If you're sickly like I used to be, you should give it a try!!!
This is one of the excellent herbs especially for mature women who have some health issues like weak metabolism. It is good for immunity, heart health, diabetes. It is anti-inflammatory. Some studies believe it is good for kidney disease. I suggest you always consult your doctor if you are taking some sorts of medicines or herbs.
I take Astragalus for immune support. I have a poor, compromised immune system. I had Rheumatic Fever at age 7, and was prescribed penicillin daily for 10 years. This damaged my immune system. I’m trying to rebuild it again. August 13th 2024. I was on a cruise, I caught Covid then a chest infection. Came home, doubled my Astragalus. Still recovering 12th September, but that’s what normally happens to me once I get a chest infection.
Another one from NOW :) staple supplement in my stack, Astagulus helps me with mood but most importantly it lengthens telemores, it helps filter kidney and helps with kidney function. If quality is a concern then you have no issues as NOW is amazing for product quality, great packaging and great ingredient.

Very good herbal supplement for immune support. Astragalus has been used traditionally to help support the immune system and overall vitality. The capsules are easy to take and the dosage is convenient. NOW Foods consistently offers good quality herbal products, and this one is a great option for daily immune support.
My best supplement which I used during my cycle and it’s good for the liver
The capsules are high quality odorless, and size is easy to swallow. I have been buying them fot the first time. I take them with Relora to feel more benefit. My dosage is one per day. I do not recommend taking these pills on an empty stomach, as they can irritate it. My mood is more consistent and less reaction to the stress.
I need this supplement daily to help my body absorb nutrients.
