My family uses the EPA for attention and mood (we seem to feel better with the higher EPA to DHA ratio) and definitely notice a difference when we don't take it. We also like that it is 3rd party purity tested and that they use small fish (anchovies and sardines). Maybe we're just used to it by now, but the taste is very mild, we don't have any upset stomachs, and the lemon fish taste does not repeat on us, but we do take it with food. We have been very happy with this product and the price seems reasonable given the quality and effectiveness of the product.

These cost a bit more than I'd like to be paying, but it's the first fish oil I've tried that doesn't give me horrible fishy burps (or any burps at all). They have a faint, pleasant lemon scent as I'm swallowing them, and then I forget I've even taken them. Probably too soon to tell if they're helping bring down inflammation, but I'm planning to re-order and take them for another month or two to evaluate their effectiveness.

I hate, hate, HATE the fish tasting burps that you get sometimes with ordinary fish oil supplements, so I go out of my way to avoid that. This product has a pleasant, somewhat artificial tasting lemon flavor added, which is very effective at canceling out any hint of fishiness. I read recently that the ratio of EPA to DHA in your omega-3 supplements matters, and that different ratios are beneficial for different health concerns. I wanted to try this high EPA product to see if I noticed a difference. So far, no - but Nordic Naturals is a highly reputable brand, so I’m sure the product has benefits for my health long term, even if I don’t see them yet.
