I use this for sinus inflammation. It seems to help keep my sinuses mucus free overnight. My wife also takes them when she gets headaches, and it helps about 50% of the time - I guess it has to do with how quickly she takes them after feeling the first sign of a headache.
I like this brand because it is free of undesirable pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA's) which you have to be careful of with butterbur. I take it daily for my bladder health. I have tried other brands but they don't seem to work as well due to the fact they are not standardized. This brand is standardized (min. 15% Sesquiterpenes as Petasines). The bonus is it also has feverfew in it which has helped with my hay fever. Since I take it daily it has built up in my system and in the spring I no longer get ichy eyes or runny nose. Way better and safer then taking allergy pills. The capsule is easy to swallow and I get no after taste. I like the Now brand due to it's quality and price point. I've been taking butterbur for years now (I'm 63) and really think it has kept my bladder strong. So many women my age have issues with leakage etc.

I was skeptical but it works.I bought the NOW butterbur capsules since I have a problem with using minox for my AGA,it triggers my migraines.I've been taking two capsules daily for 25 days.The intensity of migraines lessened,I switched from 100mg triptan to 50 mg:)Today is third day in a row of using minox,it's bearable💃

Butterbur together with Feverfew effectively helps fight migraines. I don't have headaches that often and I don't have to take such strong medication. The pain is not as bad.
