It is really great how well does the chaste tree berry help to balance the hormones whether they have been high or low prior to taking this. It definitely does help with PMS, cramps, irregular cycles and hormonal imbalance. Buy taking one would be enough to stabilize the period. Anyway listen to your body and take two capsules if needed.
I have taken Vitex off and on for years. When younger, I took the 400 mg dosage (from Nature's Way) to balance my system and clear up hormonal acne. As I got closer to menopause I found that a lower dose of 225 mg (from Solaray) suited me better. Now that I am in menopause I find this 40 mg dosage to be perfect; any more than that is just stimulates my adrenals too much. Dr. Michael Murray recommends this dosage for women in menopause. If you are looking to correct PMS/PCOS issues or are TTC, you may do better on the higher dosages mentioned.
I used to take those years ago when I was a young mum to help with my hormones and I am now taking them again with hormone issues with Menopause. I never had any problems with them or any side effects. Easy to swallow and not too big. I would recommend Them. Still taking them for the past 4 months now, no issues.

Really powerful ingredients unfortunately I didn't get on with this product as its quality and dosage was to high and rich for me, maybe it was a quick buy for me, something that needs research 1st especially when using with other products, can't fault the packaging as it is sustained in a glass reusable container with all the supplement and ususge facts, the size is average, easy to swallow capsule, colours are attractive to ensure intention of benefits. Just wasn't for me but it might be for you
