I mix triphala powder with lemon juice. Eat together for the whole family Triphala is a caste age medicine. Has a powerful anti-cancer effect. Very big bag. Eat only a little bit per day. Eat for a long time. Overall, I rate 9/10.
I bought this to help improve the digestion of one member of my family. I bought the 16 oz. package because it was cheaper than buying the capsule. I tried mixing with milk, which is traditional, and honey, and my family member couldn't stand the taste. It tastes somewhat bitter. I didn't find it unpalateable either way, but I also actually rather like bitter-tasting foods. I will make up some capsules for my family member, as I think this will benefit him. I was using a dosage of 1.5 teaspoons every night just before bed.
Trifala powder is great for any dosha = body type. Also ppl have a constipate issue, or even want to have healthy stools ;), overweight too, that's what I learned. You can make a facial mask, mix with water or rose water and apply on your face, then wash it off when it's dried. I like how smooth and clean feelings after this mask!
Just started taking. It is not as bad tasting as I read in some other reviews. I take 1/4 teaspoon and wash it down with a full glass of water. It is easy to take. So simple and it is supposed to do lots of good things for your health. I feel more energy.
the size is great, good for detoxifying liver overnight. can be taken with warm water before sleep at night, and stimulates poop in the morning, good for boosting metabolism if taken in the morning. cleans the body internally, purest ingredient. Great quality and satisfied completely. dosage is half to 1 teaspoon per day.
I don't know how many bags of Triphala I have purchased but I will keep on do so. I like Starwest Bontanical's Triphala although I like other brands also. Triphala is good for any body type and is particularly good for the digestive track. I don't enjoy the taste and it is gritty so I usually make capsules to assure that i will use it. This is a quality product, it's organic and is made up of 3 fruits.
It's not an herb technically it's a mix of 3 berries (powdered) I take it daily for years(1 teaspoon before bedtime)!i helped my friend who was on medication for years bcs of struggle to move bowels, doctors told him nothing will help, but they dont know about Triphala and miracles it does!
I take triphala everyday since its good for keeping regularity , digestion and overall health. THe quality of this product is good. It maybe difficult for a beginner to take but can always be taken as tea.
I hate the taste but it's super healthy so I try to take it from time to time
