Being a member of poppy family Corydalis really works well as sedative and analgesic. I can really feel it. It makes your body a little warm, kind of euphoric, but it is not. You just feel well without any euphoria . This is the second herb after kratom that really does its work for me. Not so potent, but, hey, what you are looking for ? Kratom is addictive, that's why I had to find anything else. I have a really bad back pain and Corydalis helps to eliminate almost 99%. Thank you, iherb.

I have narcolepsy and as well as having sudden daytime sleep episodes, excessive daytime sleepiness, I also have periods of very interrupted sleep, sleep talking and hypnagogic hallucinations which make the whole cycle worse. After taking just one of these capsules before bed, I am asleep within minutes (as usual) but stay asleep the whole night, have a really sound & deep sleep and wake feeling like I've had the best sleep & are so de-stressed. Highly recommend.

I've recently started using Corydalis as an alternative to conventional pain medication for my migraines. While it's not as straightforward as popping a standard painkiller, it has proven to be quite effective for me. When I feel a migraine coming on, I typically need to take around four tablets for it to have a significant effect. Though this dosage is higher than the recommended two tablets for minor pain, it truly alleviates my migraine symptoms effectively. One notable downside to using Corydalis is the pronounced drowsiness it causes when I take higher doses. After four tablets, I find myself feeling quite sleepy, which limits when and where I can use this supplement. For instance, I can't rely on Corydalis if I need to drive or be alert, as the drowsiness would be too impairing. In summary, Corydalis has been a powerful tool in my arsenal against migraines, especially when used at the right dosage. However, the sedative effect is a significant consideration and limits its use in situations where alertness is crucial. Despite this, the effectiveness in pain relief makes it a worthwhile supplement for me.

This is a fantastic product and the only one I can find that helps to relieve my hip pain. I highly recommend it!

Not as strong as pure L-Tetrahydropalmatine(one of the contents), but since it presumably contains the other alkaloids and what have you from the Corydalis root, I guess it is like comparing opium and morphine. It can be quite effective, as long as one doesn't use it every day. Not euphoric, so no point trying to get high from it. But good for sleep and pain. 2 capsules can be too mild, I take 4 if I have to.

Corydalis is not easy to find in a potent and trustworthy form, but this one is excellent. Each capsule contains 500 mg of an 8:1 extract, which I find quite effective for easing muscular tension or mild pain without making me drowsy. I don’t take it daily, only when needed, and the results are always gentle but clear. Good quality ingredients and no unpleasant aftertaste or side effects for me.

Incredible results, I tried corydalis for two types of pain (joint and headache), both times very effective relief. Use 2 capsules only as needed.

I purchased this product to help with night cramping. Not only did it help with that, it also enabled me to relax so that I could fall asleep fast and have a better sleep. I did not use the product every day but only when I felt I needed some help falling asleep.
