My whole family have been taking this Elderberry product for almost 8 years during the cold and flu season. When we catch the flu, we take elderberry in conjunction with Echinachea and Goldenseal. Then all the symptoms of the Flu are reduced dramatically to those of a simple cold. It is an amazing herb. We also use it in the winter as a preventive measure.

This is a good brand so I was happy to see they made sambucol. I feel this ingredient is most effective if you use it early, like when you’re starting to come down with something. I prefer blister packs because when travelling you probably only need 1 sheet. But there are many in this container which makes it better value.
Take it regularly for my respiratory system. Add it to my juice daily for health benefits. Tastes ok in juice

Nice package, firm bottle, won’t be crushed in a purse or a suitcase. The capsules are clear and shows the purple contents. No side effects were experienced, capsule is relatively small compared to things like magnesium capsules. Easy to swallow. Can’t speak to efficacy, as was using as a preventive tool.
