If you have this with a meal, it significantly dampens the blood glucose spikes. I've tested this a few days in a row with identical meals, and when I didn't take this, the spike on my glucose monitoring system was much higher and more pronounced. This seems to slow down the rate of carbohydrate metabolism. Good for diabetics and menopausal women!
Quality and ingredients seem good. Is a good blend for someone with diabetes like me but am on mostly carnivore and reversing it slowly but surely. I got off the berberine for a while because I found other brands not to do anything, but I think berberine is better as a fat removal supplement. I chose this brand because it had a lot of the ingredients of other supplements, I have but in one. Diabetes not only comes from excess glucose but fatty pancreas and fatty liver. My fatty pancreas has resolved so am hoping to get my a1c lowered by new year's. The size of the pill is bearable for someone like me who cannot swallow large pills. The only thing that would make it better is bitter melon. My glucometer will tell me in about 2 weeks if these are working. 9/14 Ordered my second bottle but cannot take it because my kidney is weak and is starting to hurt. When my kidney gets back up to where I need it to be. I will take them again because they lower the glucose like 15 points if you are on a very low carb, keto carnivore diet like I am. I can tell in my glucometer how good these were working.
This supplement is so worth the price as it has helped my husband improve his A1C and glucose numbers that wouldn’t budge for years. It’s easy to take and my husband never experienced any side effects with it. We have been recommending it to all our friends that have glucose issues.
