I am a supplement coach -- most melatonin supplements are problematic because the dose is extremely high compared to the body's own natural melatonin production. This is one of the few supplements that has a smaller dose. ideally the tablets should be cut in half so that the dose is only half a milligram (500 micrograms), which is what sleep experts recommend when taking melatonin.
