Cheese Kit, Mozzarella & Ricotta, 1 Kit

This was actually an accidental purchase, I had put it in my shopping cart and then forgot to check it before I checked out. But it was a super fun activity for the family. I learned a lot about the cheese making process. Although I read the directions several times, I misunderstood what a hot water bath meant. I thought it was referring to a double boiler like the kind you use when you’re melting chocolate. So I opted for the microwave. But I couldn’t get it up to temperature to really make the cheese smooth. Despite that it was still edible and delicious. I used a lot more milk than I had expected, I realize a lot goes into making a small amount of cheese. I still have enough left to try this again so I will try to make the hot water bath version in the future. Overall a really super fun purchase and a good learning experience.

Well it was really quite a challenge, all I was looking for was a thermometer for food, and I happened to come across this kit, which includes a thermometer, so I told myself why not? I made mozzarella according to the recipe I found on YouTube (who would like to attach to the comments) even though there are preparation instructions it was easier for me to see with my own eyes and make. The mozzarella has run out faster than I thought, having to prepare again, luckily the amount is plenty of cheeses, so if you like mozzarella or ricotta cheese and also kitchen lovers, I highly recommend you. Kit contains thermometer, diaper cloth, and all ingredients. Gluten-free probiotics

All ingredients good quality and nice packaging! I made my mozzarella cheese and all was easy and good with this kit. Instructions was simple. And just use good milk and follow exactly instructions and you will got your home made cheese! Good luck ! Truly recommend and this product is nice

So excited to get this and start my own cheese making! I wish there were a refill for certain items as I don’t need cheesecloth every time. But a great product overall!

The kit has every special ingredient and tool needed to make cheese. As with the other kit it has enough enzyme and salts to make a lot of cheese Making mozzarella is not as easy as described

Bought during Covid and it came with a nice package. I couldn’t get the right milk though and I don’t think it worked very well but I would buy and try again.

This kit isn't a necessity to make these products, but it definitely made me feel less overwhelmed when starting. The muslin is of a decent quality and there are two pretty big packages of cheese salt and citric acid that I used for many cheesemaking sessions. The ingredients are quite simple to find outside of this kit, so it's not necessary but could make a good gift.

Love this little kit! Comes with everything you could possibly need! Did this as an activity with my niece and she loved it! It was really fun and cute!
