This product is low in carbs and I think it tastes great with the licorice flavor. I notice rapid relief from symptoms of my acid reflux when taken after an irritating meal. The combination of Gutgard DGL with the calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate seems to give it an edge over Tums. Recommended!

I use the Life Extension EsophaCool whenever the silent reflux (LPR) strikes and the acid reflux goes up into my throat. The EsophaCool does exactly that - helps to cool the burn and pain in my esophagus. I guess it helps to neutralize some of the acid. I'm really not sure what the calcium & magnesium do, but the DGL has been known to help with that issue.

The quality is over the top, the quantity is enough for couple of months, 4th time restocking. One of my favorites in Iherb purchases!
