Haven’t tried other types of turmeric before, but this one is a very STRONG AND BITTER and it’s organic. Just a little pinch can taste very bitter. But it’s a very suitable size for this price. The packaging is plastic. I don’t think it’s suitable for making golden milk.

This Turmeric has a very rich and earthy taste - it's almost bitter, but not. I mix it with an immune boost powder and some orange Crystal Light - super refreshing and the Turmeric definitely adds a layer of flavor that would not be there otherwise. I have not (yet) cooked with it, so I cannot comment on how it is in recipes - but mixed in drinks, it's great!

Keeps me healthy at a really affordable price. Highly recommended! Really effective.
