I've had thinning hair for a while and have been looking out for solutions to fix this problem. This shampoo did help to make my hair feel fuller, although my hair is towards fine-medium wavy side and this shampoo made my hair slightly frizzy.
This shampoo is okay. It has a pleasant smell, and it does cleanse my hair. My hair texture, however, prefers a more moisturing shampoo. This shampoo left my hair feeling stripped. This is probably fine for less coily hair. In the end, I don't believe this shampoo thickened my hair at all. But it did cleanse my strands.
I can't say whether this product works or not because I only uses it for a week after I noticed it was stripping the color off my dyed hair. I received the product free to try. Unfortunately I can't recommend this product due to my experience but if your hair is not color treated you may have a different result.
I already have thick hair but it was coming out. This definitely helped me with my hair loss and less hair came out when I would condition in the shower
I tried hers Thickening Shampoo for free through BzzAgent. I thought it did a great job of keeping my hair clean while not stripping it of moisture. Also really enjoyed the scent. I would recommend this product.
My fine hair sheds unbelievably! I can't go anywhere without leaving hair behind so I keep it in a messy bun. But it also needed a boost and this great smelling shampoo definitely helped with that. The only drawback is I feel like it was drying to my hair. Almost like it was stripped. It did, however, lessen the amount of shedding overall. It would be great for someone with really oily hair/scalp.
For the thickening shampoo, Hers states, "Formulated to wash away excess sebum. [...] This shampoo can help cleanse your scalp to help your hair appear thicker and healthier." Looking at the ingredients, the shampoo does not contain parabens, silicone, and sulfates which many thickening focused shampoos follow. I have been using the shampoo-conditioner pair for the last few months on my color treated hair and so far they have succeeded in avoiding that straw like frizz.
I've been using this Thickening Shampoo for a few weeks. I have oily scalp. This shampoo has been leaving my hair greasy and I haven't noticed any change in thickness. Not recommended.
My hair is very fine. While using the Hers Thickening system, it made my hair feel soft, full, bouncy and held curl, even through humidity. I would like to keep using the system if it's reasonable priced. I loved it, it rinsed out well, smelled clean not at all chemically, no tangles or dry/damage to hair. It was a great shampoo, conditioner, and serum system. I know using it for the few weeks helped, but if I used it longer, I could of have great, full of body and volume hair. So when I see it, I will definitely keep using it.
I love this stuff. It really does help thicken my hair. I've noticed results after only a week of use. It smells amazing and it's super easy to use.
