I absolutely love the Bobby Flay 12-inch cast iron skillet. I had used many a cast iron pan from a very popular brand that is made in Tennessee. This pan is similar in weight, and hence, heat retention for searing. But what sets the Bobby Flay by GreenPan series apart is the handles. The handles of the other brand are level and parallel to the top of the pan, as well as only being 5 inches long. The Bobby Flay cast iron skillets have handles that are slightly over 6 inches and are angled somewhat upward, which makes this pan so much easier to pick up. Also, the helper handles have enough space to actually get your fingers between the inside of the helper handle and the exterior of the pan without burning yourself. This pan is an exceptional value, and I highly recommend it for the ergonomics and the quality.

Got the 12" GreenPan skillet a while back. Like the brand. Needed a new castle iron. When I saw Bobby Flays endorsement along with Macy's sale price, I knew it was a good choice. Bonus: my old GreenPan skillets' lid fits this perfectly. Sits nice and flat on my glass top electric range, no wobble.
Ordered 2 of these as gifts. One arrive where handle broke off. Hoping tte durability of the other is good!
I bought this a couple months ago when I purchased my new home. I finally used it last night, followed all instructions, washed and dried prior to using it. And my food completely stuck to the pan. It might be ruined- I scrubbed it last night and I can’t get the burnt food off! Also I noticed a sidewall has a crack in it- I’ve never dropped it.
I keep getting asked to review so I will. I don't know how the pans are. Due to UPS giving them to someone else, I can't tell you. Maybe find the person that UPS delivered them to and ask them how they are enjoying MY new pans!
I bought this cast iron pot as I really needed one. As usual with all new purchases of pots and pans, I washed it in the dishwasher. I was shocked when I took it out and saw that it was rusted on the inside and out. To be honest, the brand name made me purchase it also as I thought it would be a great cast iron pot. Terrible quality. I only gave it 2 stars because of the weight.
This pan was rough on the top and bottom. It was impossible to get clean and ruined a scrubber we often used. Very disappointed and returning today!
