Clarins Wonder Perfect 5D Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara, 0.2 oz.

Not as good as the previous formulation. I like this mascara, but it's nowhere near as fabulous as it used to be.

This is incredibly disappointing and nowhere near as good as 4D. Will have to look elsewhere for a good mascara. Such a shame. It is thin and barely colours.

Just opened the tube, not sure I like the heavy glass. Goes on easy but seems to lack the volume and lengthening that the old formula did so well. Clarins used to make the best product, but keep changing the formulation and two latest mascaras just not hitting the mark. Will start looking for something new.

Messy useless product. I loved the 4D mascara, but this flakes, makes my lashes look stubby, does not lengthen them at all and I seem to get all over my eyelid! Unfortunately, due to Clarins useless tech I mistakenly ordered 3!

Eventually got to try a sample small tube of this, and unfortunately not impressed! It flakes more than a Greggs sausage roll!! Was left with black specks around my eyes as the day wore on, I tried it with and without the SOS serum mascara as a base coat, and made no difference on staying power either way. I previously reviewed lamenting the lack of brown colour, like the fabulous previous 4D version, and I will say on the plus side, that this is not as intense a black as the other Clarins mascaras, I find it a more softer black, so a bit more flattering to wear. However as other reviewers have mentioned, it's very thin in consistency and takes a few coats to have any impact, and has nowhere near the same effect on lengthening & curling as the 4D. This, combined with the flakiness, it's a sad thumbs down for me. Will be eaking out my remaining 2 tubes of brown 4D.

Love the long stem and brush design, and also the glass casing. I would recommend this mascara.

I’m really sorry but I don’t like it. It flakes, it’s nothing like the Wonder Perfect 4D. I’m really sorry that I invested in it. And a glass wand is really risky.

I am not happy with this new product like other reviews have said.

After using 4D for many years as my go to Mascara, the 5D has indeed been a big disappointment. It is thin, dry and not nearly as effective as the 4D. It is true that it doesn't smudge, but it also doesn't give length or keep curl as well as the 4D.
