Foot bed is very comfortable. Traction is great. Upper leather is thin for a hiking boot. Padded tongue is not wide enough. Top front hurt my ankle where lacing hooks are located. I quit lacing on the top hooks. Light weight laces were hard to manipulate so I replaced them right away.
