Very high quality, but these socks run a bit large, so they are a little loosey under hiking or snow boots. I wear a 10 boot (usually, sometimes 9-1/2), so I take a size large sock. In my experience, Smartwool runs larger than my Wigwam socks, which fit me better (snugger).

We received the product but it was not the best quality that smartwool normally has. The socks had a hole and it was starting to run. They also had these little hooked areas all over. Really not pleased with this product, especially for the price they cost.

I originally purchased the large based on the sizing recommendations, and they were just way too long... like over-the-knee long. They made me feel funny. I liked it, but I felt ashamed. So I sent those back and got the mediums. I no longer feel like putting on a skirt when I wear them, but my feet feel wonderfully warm and comfortable. In all seriousness, probably the most comfortable and warm socks I've ever owned. They are also easy to put on and remove, something I've struggled with wearing other brands. In spite of the ease, they stay in place very well. Seriously, best socks ever.

I will use these over the calf socks with my hunting boots. They are super cushioned & soft. We'll see how warm they are. Delivery was quick & a first time purchase discount was applied. My phone order was complicated by the poorly English speaking representative. I had to have him repeat almost everything he said. I asked to speak to someone else, but that wasn't accommodated. Please use English, as a first language, speaking representatives, preferably ones in the US and/or at your facility.
